Chuck as Monomyth - work in progress

So I've been hanging out with one of my nieces a bit lately. She's a 20 year old college student who reads a ton and who I've managed to get hooked on not only The Show, but also Chuck.

She's also well aware of my affinity for folklore and mythology. One weekend we were hanging out together and she begin asking me questions about the topic. I figured what better way to explain it than to give her a homework assignment. Take world renown comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey cycle or 17 stages of Monomyth and apply the to the show she and I discuss the most at the moment, "Chuck."

Here's what I've done so far. Didn't get as in depth as I could, because, you know, it's not like I'm writing a thesis. Chuck as Monomyth

Plus using Campbell's guidelines is kind of cheating since I'm sure many writers in Hollywood use them thanks to George Lucas and "Star Wars".
